Oso, my summer vacation scholarship! I will be going to Sydney!! yay! feb 15 - 16. At the Stamford Hotel summore! all expenses paid for! wah! looking forward to it! haha...
Neway, hols lor now... not for long, jan 8th i will have to start working on my summer project d... for this vacation scholarship thing. But meanwhile, i'm enjoying myself rereading Harry Potter series for the 2nd time! although i've actually read book 2,3,5 and 6 three times this time. But still, i still find it interesting! hahaha... the movie and the last book is coming out next yr july 13!! can't wait! not much about the movie lar, but the book!the book sounds really interesting! what with HP's mum is very important, Aunt petunia will be very important as well, someone will become a ghost... she will reveal who R.A.B is... Wormtail will repay his debt to Harry... Snape's true loyalty will be confirmed... Dolores Umbridge's gonna be tortured even more! hahaha...
for those who do not read Harry potter, it's a really good story! not so much the movies but the books! and mind you, though it says witchcraft and wizardry, it still EMPHASIS on good agaisnt bad, love always overcomes evil and no such negative influence whatsoever! Also, have a look at Wikipedia! go search on Harry Potter there! not only they tell you about the synopsis of the stories, they even list down all the teachers names, spells and their incantations, what they do, all the magical creatures, list of all characters from Voldermort to Kreacher! Even about Griffyndor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin themselves! every single tiny detail is in Wikipedia! those stuffs you hardly take notice while reading the book are ALL there!! so who says Harry Potter's just some silly little story?
Even King Cross station in London now decorates the wall barrier between platform 9 and 10 with a "platform 9 and three-quarters" label together with a trolley halfway through into the barrier!
ok, enough about all this blabbering about Harry potter... Weather here's summer... sometimes HOT, VERY HOT, sometimes cold... so cold... unpredictable weather... and Malaysia's got a new Agong! sultan of terengganu... wow, isn't that fast... five years past...
hmm... dunno what to say d lar... merry christmas everyone! like the snow?? as in the ones in my blog??

another update!! hehe... exam period now... 3 down, 1 more to go this coming wednesday! then holidays!
ok, how's exams? considering that i've been sooo slacked this sem, as in din do any tutorial work, hardly paid any attention in lectures, skipped lectures, and not understanding quite a lot of things, the exams were quite alright actually!
so far, i've got my 1st provisional result d, which is a HD (high distiinction)! YAY! hopefully it's confirmed soon! the other 2 exams went quite alright as well! i managed to answer most of the questions... praise the Lord!
this last exam, hopefully it will be good as well!
another thing, i just got baptised yesterday along with my sis and 3 other people... for those who do not really know what baptism is, depending on which denomination of Christianity, mine, is submerging the whole body in the water. Just like Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist. Why do we get baptised? It's a symbolic act to say that you believe that Jesus died for your sins and rose again from the dead, and that you want to follow Him for the rest of your life. It also symbolises your old self is now dead, and you are a new being now! Other Christian denomination baptises differently, but we follow how Jesus was baptised as in the whole body being submerged in water. (It's biblical!)
the weather here is HOT!!! yes, HOT and DRY!! so not nice!!
btw, my summer scholarship is now officially awarded to me already! this scholarship is about doing a project in summer (Jan - Feb 07) for 6 weeks and attend the Big Day In at some place where I'll have to do a presentation of my project and answer questions for 10 mins, for 2 days, accomodation, travelling and meals provided. Also, the scholarship pays $350 per week for 6 weeks.
that's basically it... oh, my church wants to organise this missions sunday next year, where in the morning we'll have "Dress of the Nations" (wear trad costume), about 4.30pm, "Food of the Nations" (food prepared by different nations) and night is "Dance of the Nations" (traditional dance of respective countires)... and pastor asked us to do something for Malaysia!!!
how? any suggestions? hopefully there will be more msians in my church, otherwise, oni me and my sis meh? then dowan lor... but any suggestions? any sort of msian presentation? dun have to be dance lar... anything la... that can represent msia... give me ur suggestions!
oh, and now i'm addicted to the Hong Kong series "War of in-laws" or in Cantonese "ngo dek yeh man nai nai" (which literally translates as My Barbaric Mother-In-Law)... soo funny lar... mum's fren lent to us the DVD... maybe some of you all watched it before d lar... it's produced in 2005...

haha... hi to those who are still faithfully checking my blog in case i do update my blog... ;)
recently what's happening in my life? ok... i haven't been well... i mean i'm not sick or anything just that i'm not physically alright get me? i have been haveing this problem, so me no eating chicken, no beef, no seafood since the start of this sem... as in since july ok? but my problem is now getting a lot better, praise God! so i'm able to eat chicken again... i still eat pork in case step u're wondering... lol... but yea... i nearly became vegetarian... hahaha... ok, i'm not a vegetarian...
that's about me health... then now me got 4 assignments due soon... starting this friday... aih... and it's so not easy... and yes... not easy... it's no longer taylor's maths or spm's add maths... it's uni maths... u know, something like actuarial stuffs? yea...
yesterday had the priviledge of chatting with xin, yin and ping... it was like a chatting marathon... btw, this is on the phone, not msn... called them... so happy next yr xin'x coming to adelaide! yay! more familiar faces here! chatted very long with ping as well... discussed a lot of issues... not between us, but issues in our lives... ;) all in all, spent 2 hrs chatting on phone... making international calls! and it's not expensive! cool or not? thank God for the existence of the item called "idd card"...
oh, any of u watched the tvb series "Twin of brothers"? in chinese "da tang shuang long juan"... quite a good series... sad ending... been occupied with it last month... got 2 versions, cantonese and mandarin... i watched the mandarin version, and plus without english subtitles... so it's like mandarin speaking with traditional chinese subtitles... lol... but i did understand the show!!! hahaha... my mandarin's getting powerful eh? this is thanks to my fren sabrina... been speaking to her in mandarin, that's y my mandarin improved! to the extent maybe my cantonese not soo good cos hardly speak... hahaha... no la, i can still understand cantonese better... just that i speak mandarin more fluently than cantonese now... hehehe...
and i am so shocked... my BM starting to karat d... i can't even make a full complete sentence without struggling!! i forgotten what laboratory is in BM!!! until my mum said "makmal"... -.-' mum's BM better than mine??!! hahaha...
ok la... update enough la... will try to update more often la... hehe... take care all of u back in msia... airportgang... take care... miss u guys... hope one day all of u will come and stay in adelaide permanently...

ok... felt like updating today... so...
supposed to be having lectures now... but, lecturer cancel last minute!! he sent email to us at 7.24am today?! and who on earth checks email that early??? so here i am, blogging and intending to play on9 games later... hehehe...
what has happened to me lately? well, i have been having this slight problem which i shall not disclose in public! hehe... hopefully it will all be over soon! i wanna be fully well again! gosh, talk to me about being worried, stressed, and anxious for over a year! neways, i trust God to heal me :)
last sunday, was UniSA Open Day... me being student ambassador of the school of maths & stats in the division of ITEE... dun ask me what it stands for... i can't remember... so i helped out on the open day... promoting financial science program to future students... now financial science has changed name to quantitative finance... i can keep the old name tho... hehe... ppl here are soooooo scared of maths! gosh... maths booth was quiet... well, a only handful of ppl came lor... as compared to other booths... sighz...
haven't been keeping in touch much with frens back in msia lately... miss u guys! here, at least me got a good fren... hehe... refering to sabrina... hehe... also in future, xin will be coming here too! yay! hope to be able to c u xin and ym on9 fri nites!
dunno what's happening to jp these days... really surprised at his behaviour... not even willing to reply my sms since i'm in aus! what more call?! summore dunno how is he thesse days... been seeing his blog... dun even understand what's happening to him... =S

another update! haha... one month once...

David got evicted the day before the finale, and Camilla was sooo close to winning! NO! hehehe... okok... for those of u who dunno what big brother is, it's a tv program here in aus, where they actually film ppl live... the ppl actually live in this "house" called the big brother house together, a bunch of them, and cannot do anything else, not writing, no tv nothing... so they can only talk and do the basics... and like trying to show who they really are lor... and David has the best personality so far in the house!! but he got evicted!!!! and Camilla was David's good fren and oso din win!!!! Jamie can't wear his pants properly... aih...
neway, can't be bothered about it... btw, any girls now curious about the David, he's gay ok? so he's useless... reminds me of sherry's old saying "all good-looking guys are either taken or gay" hahaha... mind u, David's good looking...
about me now... nothing lor... finally read finish the whole Harry Potter books... fun... haha... finished like 2 weeks ago... my favourite book is Book 4! Goblet of Fire... the movie is lousy compared to the book!!!
in uni now... doing nothing... after reading sabrina's tag, i decided to update my blog lor... hahaha... it's almost the end of winter here... and the warmth is coming again... haha... but not long till summer, when the temperature hits the 40 degrees and over and we'll start winging again! hehehe... plus, spring is also known as "hayfever season"... hopefully i dun have hayfever... i din get it last year... so hopefully i dun get it this year... :)

exams are finally over! haha... okok...actually it was over since saturday... 1st july... business finance... was soo scared that i might not get through that one... then dreading to think how terrible it were to be to repeat that subject... so was praying so very hard... hopefully it would be a simple paper!
and guess what? God answered! Hallelujah! hahaha... the paper was not to say EASY, but it was less harder than sooo many exercises i've tried! Praise the Lord! now i'm quite sure that i'll pass... hehe... *sigh of relief*
well business finance isn't a hard subject i suppose... it's just the fact that that's the oni subject i detest the most this semester... the lecturer wasn't any help... so boring the lectures... and his accent! and he speaks one word at a time! and lectures held at night! ugh... neway, thank God it's all over now! just wanna pass and get over with it...
so what's been happening lately? hmmm... dropped my P plate a while d now... wah, come to think of it, it's also 1 month d! time flies...
sherry is now at uni d... went in to uni the day after my last exam... well at least she got what she wanted iand studying at local uni... UPM in msia that is...
so now me got 3 weeks holidays... what am i gonna do? dunno... no plans... basically gonna indulge myself reading the whole series of Harry Potter... hahaha... was procrastinating to study by reading Harry Potter... then had to force myself to study... the worse was the 9 days break between my third exam and business finance... was soooooooooooo tempted to read HP than my business finance notes... hahaha... but managed to overcome it! yea!
come to think of it, in another 1 and a half yrs time, i'll be graduating! woohoo! it will be the end of my "school" life d... how fast time passes... seemed like i just went to std 1 few days ago... learning how to write ABC...
anyway... haha... this is just another random post... dunno what to say or can't really write much...

today's the last day of this semester in uni... felt like the sem just started yesterday... exactly 8 days from today, i will be having my first exam... differential equations...
sighz... regretted not paying attention in s. maths in SAM... otherwise this subject would have been easier... aih... but nvm lor... it isn't too bad i suppose... just wanna do very well with all my subjects... hehe...
exams start 17 june... next saturday, then 19th then 21st then 1st july! the subject i scared most is business finance... adoi... the finals is worth 75% of the whole grade! and no formula sheet or notes! hope i can do well, if not pass!!
exams aside... me oso feeling a lil guilty cos this sem i have been slacking a lot! hahaha... and if any of u are wondering "You're Joel, You? slack? NO WAY!" hah! this sem is my slackest i think... well, except for SAM... hahahaha... and the happy moments in primary school! lol...
me haven't been studying, but procrastinating... wasting time doing nothing... hahaha... reading Harry Potter! how i wish if i had to sit for a test on HP! i'm quite sure i'll do well... LOL! it's soo much more fun! hahaha... ohkay... reality... damn! looks like i have to spend the next whole week bucking up a bit! otherwise, don't do well how?
it's winter here now... freezing cold! last year it was considered a "warm" winter... now this year is very cold... and i dunno what happened to me la... cos i fell sick, well not exactly fell sick, but had fever one night, and my heater was turned on, but still i felt freezing! shivering! felt terrible... since then, i felt weaker lor... like before i fell "sick", i can walk around not wearing extra clothe and still can tahan the cold... but now cannot tahan too cold d... aih...
oso something happened last monday... the monday that just passed... a stupid lady, ang moh... knock my mum's car from the back! the law in Aus is no matter what, if you knock someone from the back, YOU are at fault! and besides, it was at a junction, mum obviously had to stop to give way... that stupipd lady terus rammed frim behind! SHIT! i thought the rear bumber bar dented until cannot recognize d... cos the impact was sooo hard! when i went to see it, it din even had a dent! oni scratches... and the bumper went out of alignment a bit oni... that lady must have hit like over 30 or 40 kmph, impact so great but to my surprise, the bumper was ok!!
neway, stopped, she gave details and her contact number... she straight away say will pay... but asked us to get a few quotes! then later she start making conditions say we cannot go to mazda to repair! mum's car's a mazda 3 sedan btw... say she oni willing to pay reasonable amount! wth?!
you're bloody at fault summore dare to berunding with me?! sei pat poh! so neway, mum and i went to make police report... before that, that lady made police report d la... this is tuesday already btw... she made police report, and the police called mum and sorta tegur my mum say "why must u go to somewhere that costs more expensive when she can get somewhere cheaper?!"
wah, policemen oso side her?! cilaka... then we made police report, diff policeman, not too bad... then already malas to layan that bitch... wanna leave it to the insurance la... insurance company want the bitch's address! we dun have and we contact her she refuse to answer! so we went to police station again to try and get her add... but so malang, met the bloody policeman who was siding her! well, maybe he's not siding her i dunno la... but he doesn't convince me... that bastard policeman talk like kurang ajar oni man! i oso damn diu lan d... i argue with the bloody policeman lar... surprising eh? but i did! i was really pissed off! i said "it's her fault and we have to listen to her terms?! have i got nothing else better to do? need her to knock my back and make myself so inconvenient?!"
continue continue... then he summore asked why we din give her address and mum's full name... i say "she din ask what?!" then he summore talk talk like it's unreasonable for us to go to more expensive one... then i say "well in that case u're just encouraging more ppl to knock others back!"
then i said "it's her bloody fault, and we have the right to go anywhere we want for a repair!"
neway cut the story short... so left the police station... din get her add cos of some privacy act, so cannot simply give ppl's address... then get a few quotes la... costs around 800... mazda costs 839... she go and call the other repairer and talk to him cos he's her fren, so he discount to 750... but we still wanna go back to mazda cos we're not familiar here... the kurang ajar bitch summore like giving instructions to mum... shit her!
then malas layan her, we just thought well, just ask her to pay us 750 and we go mazda repair and top up the difference la... ask her to pay us cash u know... what the bitch did? she agreed and called up mazda and pay by credit card straight awayand tell them we had an agreement! see or not? how bloody f***ed up she is? dad called mazda and told them we had no agreement and ask them to cancel the payment... she called mum up and scold mum summore u know! nia bu ci bai! mum ask her to pay us cash... she summore got the cheek to say "i'm not going to pay you upfront... what if u take the money and don't repair?" mum din say anything but tell her that if she doesn't pay us, we'll go through insurance... she kurang ajar bitch hang up the phone! sei guai poh! go eat shit man! wth?! u're at fault u pay us and what we do with the money none of ur f***ing business! if i speak to her i will tell her that d... i damn diu lan her d! her lanciao face look like knock ppl a lot of times d... that's y she so calm when she came down to talk to us after the accident!
never even apologize! rude bitch! so if we go thru insurance, the insurance will know how to get her address if she refuses to give them when they call her... then they'll come assess the car and we repair them, insurance pay, then they'll claim from that bitch... could be more than 750... who cares... if she refuse to pay, insurance company will get lawyer to sue her... all this will be none of our business anymore la... and no cost to us oso la... so let that bitch get f***ed in the ass man! she well deserves it... bloody dishonest cheat!
ok... never seen me that diu lan before right? i mean in msia oso ar, if ppl hit ur back or u hit ppl's back oso they know how to shut up and just pay whatever... this one, answer back summore, instructing the person on what to do as if we wronged her!
all these guai lous all no manners wan man! have been brought up like that since they were young... teacher wrong, get the teacher sacked... parents cane them, report to school, school will take action, put the child in a foster family and the parents cannot see the child anymore! like that oso got wan ar?! all these in the name of child abuse! now good la... all their ppl all behave kurang ajar!
aih... this whole week actually i get worked up on this issue lar... affected my day oso... cos mum was quite upset... and whoever upsets mum, i will get affected la... what to do, me guai chai ma... hahahaha... aih... so now it's in the insurance hands... can't be bothered to layan that bitch...

sebab saya berpendirian sebegini adalah kerana sebelum saya datang ke sini, saya telah mengalami 3 tahun yang tidak tenteram! perasaan saya tak tenteram! sebenarnya saya tak pernah benci apa-apa negara... tapi, apabila diberitahu bahawa suatu hari saya akan pindah ke negara asing walhal pada masa itu saya sungguh keberatan! saya melalui 3 tahun lepas dengan perasaan benci pada negara in yang sedang "membesar" tiap-tiap hari!
ini masalah psikologi saya... tapi, saya masih waras! saya masih boleh buat keputusan! aku tahu msia tak boleh memberi peluang yang sebegitu banyak kepada saya... oleh itu saya tidak membuat keputusan untuk membuang visa PR saya! tapi tak bolehkah kalau saya tak mahu jadi "citizen"???
mengapa perlu paksa saya? kalau saya nak, saya akan pergi daftar! tapi sekarang saya masih tak boleh menerima kenyataan jika saya menjadi warganegara aus! mungkin jika diberi masa sedikit... tapi yang paling saya benci adalah orang-orang asia yang mahu sangat jadi orang putih! tak ada imej sendiri langsung! saya paling tak boleh tahan orang sebegitu! macamlah bangsa sendiri begitu menghinakan!
lagipun, yang saya benci adalah orang yang kata sampai aus adalah "syurga"... banyak orang mahu datang sini tapi tak ada peluang! cakap sampai aus "syurga, msia "neraka"!! orang yang betul-betul kenal saya akan tahu saya sedang tulis tentang siapa...
selain itu, saya juga paling benci orang yang sombong kerana dapat visa PR... cakap sampai orang lain di msia cemburu pada kami... cemburu kerana mereka sendiri tak dapat... oleh itu, mereka akan cuba mempengaruhi diri kita supaya membuat keputusan yang salah seperti "tidak menjadi warganegara aus" BENCI!
memang saya tahu orang yang cemburu memang ada dan wujud... tapi dia cakap sampai kawan saya di msia yang cemburu pada saya dan tak mahu saya jadi warganegara negara bodoh ini!
aih... saya tak tahu macam mana nak buat keputusan inilah! jika boleh saya tak mahu jadi wargtanegara aus lah... kalau kerajaan bodoh negara ini nak menjadikan prosedur mendaftar untuk jadi warganegara atau PR lebih susah, mungkinlah saya akan berfikir dua kali...
tapi, ada sedikit kebenaran tentang kebaikan negara inilah jika dibandingkan dengan msia... tapi saya hanya tak mahu dikenali sebagai "Australian"... jika saya benar-benar jadi warganegara aus pun saya tak akan beritahu orang saya "Australian"... saya akan selalu kata "i'm Malaysian"... jika saya perlu kata "I'm from China" pun saya akan kata tapi tak akan sekali saya akan mengakui saya "Australian"... itulah pendirian tetap saya... kalau semua yang lain berubah pun, ini tidak akan berubah... memalukan untuk dikenali sebagai Australian... tapi ini untuk saya sahaja... kepada yang boleh baca bahasa melayu dan sudah menjadi warganegara aus atau memang adalah warganegara australia, saya meminta maaf kerana saya tidak terfikir langsung untuk mencaci negara kamu... tetapi, ini adalah dari persepsi saya sahaja... negara aus negara yang baik, tapi ini hanya masalah saya... oleh itu, warganegara aus yang boleh baca bm, saya tidak berniat buruk... saya tidak ada apa-apa masalah dengan orang di aus... hanya 'mindset" saya yang macam ini... harap anda faham... saya berperangai begini hanya kerana saya melalui masa susah hati... jika hari ini, saya sendiri yang mahu datang aus, tanpa perasaan susah hati yang lalu, saya mungkin sudah jatuh cinta pada negara ini... tapi, itu tidak berlaku... oleh itu, "i will always be a msian... if possible... if not, i will always be "known" as a msian... baik msian, chinese, s'porean, viet, korea, tapi bukan australian...

hahaha... ok here's an update! AT LAST? hahahaha,,, i'm sure most of my nlog readers oso cabut d... cos so no update here... hehehe...
first of all, uni already resumed one week now... can't believe how fast time flies this year! like soo fast almost half the year gone d!!!
ok, so what's happening in my life lately? uhm... nothing... hahaha... guess that explains my attitude of not updating my blog... lol!
life's been basically uni, uni, and more uni... ugh... assignments and tests... aih... dread 2nd year... lolz...
oh miss all of my frens in msia soo much... airportgang... love u all muacks!
these few days me came across something that affected me a lil... like why would some ppl love to criticize others when all they're trying to do is being their ownself... it's like what wrong have these ppl done to others?
i'm having sort of a writer's block at the moment... so me just writing whatever that comes into my mind randomly la... hahaha...
sometimes miss coll life soo much... all those memories... happiest moment for me was in my coll life...
btw, to airportgang frens, sekarang me tulis dlm bm la ya? kerana tak mahu orang putih sini tahu apa saya cakap ini...
pada akhir tahun ini, saya akan layak untuk jadi warganegara aus... tapi, saya tak tahu nak jadi ke tak nak... kerana, saya tak dapat bayangkan sendiri semasa mengisi borang untuk apa-apa, bila ditanya warganegara, saya menulis australia... tak boleh bayangkan... walau bagaimana malaysia berubah, saya pun masih berasa bangga menjadi warganegara msia... saya ada masa berasa benci terhadap negara ini (aus) kerana ia lah, saya perlu begitu sedih... begitu sakit hati... lagipun, orang yang saya sayang, kawan-kawan baik semua ada di msia... saya keberatan mereka... lagipun, ibu-bapa cakap macam kalau saya tak jadi warganegara aus, visa permastautin tetap (PR) saya boleh dibatal bila-bila... walhal, itu tak benar... tapi saya tak begitu yakin juga... saya mahu visa permastautin tetap tapi tak mahu jadi warganegara aus... macam mana ya? ok lah... bm saya tak begitu baik lah... haha... dahlah 2 tahun setengah tak tulis karangan bm, oleh itu, bm saya sekarang cacat lah... kalau betul tak cacat pun, saya rasa pelik untuk tulis dalam bm sekarang lah... hahaha...
ok la... my bm still ok right? hahaha... can understand right? yea... so that's how i feel... very in dilemma now... and it's oni half years time oni... how? how?
